Really feeling like we are in 'the ditch' at 10-mile cut. Bumped over some logs while passing a tug in this section. Not fun. It was sunny and warm after the haze burned off, though.

Made it to St Augustine at 11:45, just missing the 11:30 bridge opening. We decided to anchor while waiting for the 12:30 opening - that turned into a problem. The tide was fighting the wind and we'd ride down the tide for a while, then whip around on a gust of wind. I was sure we'd foul the keel, rudder or prop on the anchor eventually, so we hauled it up, winding up doing it manually due to cranky windlass and the wind and tide.

But, all in all a nice day. Later in the afternoon, the wind came up prety fresh and it got cool.

Stopped for the night at Palm Coast Marina - their floating docks will only handle a 40' boat so we wound up tied off the T section, jury-rigging fenders in the increasing wind.
